Superior oral surgery in sydney
Whenever possible, we will always save a tooth rather than extract it. However, there are cases when teeth are too decayed or irreparably damaged to save with root canal therapy and/or dental crowns. In advanced cases of periodontitis, the gums will often recede too much, and/or too much bone loss will have occurred to save a tooth.
After performing thorough X-rays and rigorously exhausting all possible alternatives, we will then remove the affected tooth with your permission. At that point, you will have several options for replacing it, including a dental implant, bridge, or partial denture. We will happily discuss all of the advantages and disadvantages of each option to help you arrive at the best decision for your dental and oral health, as well as for your confidence and satisfaction.
